This particular piece, which measures 1" X 3/4", is made of copper and sterling silver Mokume-gane.

Mokume-gane is an ancient Japanese metalsmithing technique that literally means "wood grain metal" in the native language. Alternating layers of metal (copper and .925 sterling silver) are diffusion bonded into a single billet, and then hammered and sanded to reveal the different layers of contrasting metal. This is a costly and time consuming technique. Very unique, you'll be the hit of the show wearing this art!
